File a company, driver, or vehicle complaint. In order to help us investigate, please provide as many details as you can for each incident such as: location, date, time, company and driver names and permit numbers, license plate numbers, and any other pertinent information.
You may apply for permits, report status changes, or request transactions concerning owners, drivers, or companies.
Remember: Company and Vehicle applications are submitted separately. If you are renewing a company, you must renew your vehicles with their own applications.
Review, Apply for or Renew a Company PermitA Company is required to have a current permit issued by this authority. You may apply for a new company permit or renew your existing permit.
Note: New company permits can take several weeks to process. You can check your status by logging in to your account
Report Status ChangesCompanies are required to report change in permit application information or driver status.
Manage DriversPrivate For-Hire companies are required to certify drivers annually. Begin an employment/certification, re-certify, de-certify and provide background check updates.
You may complete your Driver Registration, request a replacement permit, submit EV program trip data or report status changes involving address and personal information.
Permitted companies may apply for permits, report status changes, or request transactions concerning private for-hire vehicles.
Register, Renew or Replace a VehicleA company must register all new vehicles and request approval to enter into a sale, lease, or rental transaction concerning registered vehicles. All existing vehicles must have their permit renewed each year.
Report Vehicle Status ChangesA company must update the status of any vehicle that has been sold, disposed, retired; or otherwise out-of-service for more than 30 days. Using this link you may:
- Change the status of your vehicle to in or out of service.
- Record vehicles that have been retired or disposed.
- Record vehicles that have been sold to a individual or company for use other than private for-hire.
Report Vehicle Information ChangesA company may change information related to a vehicle that has been registered and is currently licensed. Using this link you may change information such as vehicle state tag number, tag expiration date, fleet number, primary contact information and other informational attributes regarding a vehicle.
Refund Policy
Application, permit/certification fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued only in the event of overpayment,
duplicate payments or if a payment was made when no fee was due. A refund may be requested by calling 503-823-7483,
Monday through Friday 10 am - 4 pm Pacific Time.
